Nice article from satisfied customer Hans Müller from Switzerland: 'FUSO Canter 9C18 AMT 4x2 - Hans Müller AG swears by its new exceptional performer'.

The family-run traditional company Hans Müller AG is using the FUSO Canter 9C18 AMT 4x2 for the first time. From robustness to manoeuvrability to reliability - the payload giant is convincing all along the line.

Hans Müller AG looks back on a long history, having been founded in 1936. The company owner Julian Müller represents the 3rd generation, manages the tinsmith's shop and flat roof department and is responsible for logistics planning. The Swiss master tinsmith is also responsible for the fact that the company now owns a FUSO Canter 9C18 AMT 4x2.

"It's our first FUSO and it's hard to imagine our everyday life without it," explains Julian Müller. "The family business has been in existence for many decades and tradition is very important to us. At the same time, however, we also attach great importance to innovation," he continues. And this is where, as the entrepreneur emphasizes, the FUSO Canter 9C18 AMT 4x2 comes into play: "The new FUSO is energetic and the epitome of innovation"

The vehicle is equipped with a hydraulically extendable rear underride guard, which makes it possible to transport flatbeds and skips with a total length of up to 4.5 metres. Thanks to the radio remote control, the complete body (hook unit, rear underride guard) as well as the engine start/stop function can be operated externally, for example from a flat roof where the driver is working.

In addition to the supplied roll-off containers (14.40 cubic metres volume), two roll-off platforms, a roll-off platform with drive-on ramps and a roll-off platform with mechanical supports, the FUSO Canter 9C18 AMT 4x2 has the following highlights: DUONIC® automated manual transmission, lane keeping and hill start assistants, Comfort cab with three seats and auxiliary drive for the hook unit on the transmission side.

"Our new FUSO is a payload giant. With the MOBAS hooklift mounted, it still has a payload of almost 5,000 kilograms," says Julian Müller happily, adding: "In terms of payload, it can easily stand comparison with a truck. In addition, it is compact, manoeuvrable and as economical as a delivery truck in terms of fuel consumption. Another decisive plus is the factory warranty. It includes the chassis, powertrain and, for components offered ex works, the warranty period of five years or up to a total mileage of 150,000 kilometres, whichever comes first. In the first year, the new car warranty is granted irrespective of the mileage.

And "the workaholic" is expected to do a lot, as it is used across the company (Switzerland and Germany). Its purpose is to transport the pre-commissioned building materials in the areas of carpentry, roofing, plumbing and timber house construction - and to dispose of any demolition materials. "It is the perfect vehicle for us", Julian Müller is convinced. "The cooperation with sales consultant René Rusch from LARAG AG is also perfect. We very much appreciate their competence and the contribution of many good ideas", is a positive addition".
